The Agenda includes:

1. Call to order  2. Approval of Minutes  3. President’s Report  4. Library Report      5. Financial Report     6. Membership Report  7. By-law change  8. New Business  9. Good and Welfare  10. Adjournment

Following our business meeting, relax and enjoy a presentation by Craig Harmon.  Craig will present “Family Search Tips and Tricks”.  Family Search is another website,  familysearch.org , that you can do genealogical research and the best part is that it’s free!

Craig is the professional genealogist behind Branch and Root Genealogy.  A graduate of Princeton University and Brigham Young University, Harmon holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University.  Researching his own family in the late 1990s, Harmon caught the genealogy bug, when he uncovered a case of an unknown father, a wrong ethnicity, a disappearing couple, and a forgotten lineage that led back to a village in Alsace, France.  Harmon specializes in Mid-Atlantic, New England, French, and German research.  Alongside his native English, Harmon speaks and reads French and German fluently and is competent in Italian, Dutch, Spanish and some Latin.  Craig Harmon is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the Connecticut Professional Genealogists Council, the Connecticut Society of Genealogists, the Delaware Genealogical Society, the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists and the National Puzzlers League, and is a volunteer at his local Family Search Center in Bloomfield, CT.  Harmon is available in the Greater Hartford region of Connecticut for in-person and online consultation, online and onsite research, genealogy translations, and lectures and classes.
