                                            in the Connecticut Maple Leaf!

Do you have an interesting research story you would like to share, or access to information that may be useful to other genealogists or family historians?

If so, the Connecticut Maple Leaf (CML) wants YOU!

If you are a member of the French Canadian Genealogical Society of Connecticut, we welcome your contribution to the CML, the Society’s semi annual publication concentrating on historical and genealogical topics of interest to people of French Canadian heritage. 

Submission Guidelines:

ð       All submissions should be either authored by the submitter, submitted with the written permission of the author or original publisher, or public domain property.

ð       Supporting source information must be provided.

ð       Surnames should be capitalized.

ð       You may submit photographs or scanned images (as .bmp, .gif or .tif files) if they compliment your article.

ð       If you have access to an IBM compatible computer, your article should be single-spaced and submitted as a Word .doc file or a .txt file on a 3.5” floppy disk.

ð       A 13 pt., Times Roman font is preferable.

ð       If you do not have access to an IBM compatible computer, your article should be typewritten and double-spaced.

Length:            Length should be dictated by the topic and its scope.  Very long articles may have to be published in two or more parts.

Deadline:       The deadline for submissions for the Winter issue of the CML is November 1.
The deadline for submissions for the Summer issue of the CML is May 1.
